MCP overview
The Visamundi MCP server exposes worldwide visa-policy data through the Model Context Protocol, so AI assistants like Claude and Cursor can answer visa questions — requirements, eligibility, visa types, comparisons — directly in a conversation, and even track a live Visamundi application.
The server identifies itself as visa-policies and covers 180+ countries
and regional blocs (Schengen, ETIAS, ASEAN, Mercosur, and more). Responses
include a link to start the application on Visamundi when one is available.
How it relates to the API
Section titled “How it relates to the API”The MCP server is part of the same platform as the REST API and widget — one dataset, three surfaces. The API gives you structured JSON to build on; the MCP server hands the same knowledge to your AI tools as ready-to-read answers, with Visamundi application links built in.
