MCP overview

The Visamundi MCP server exposes worldwide visa-policy data through the Model Context Protocol, so AI assistants like Claude and Cursor can answer visa questions — requirements, eligibility, visa types, comparisons — directly in a conversation, and even track a live Visamundi application.

The server identifies itself as visa-policies and covers 180+ countries and regional blocs (Schengen, ETIAS, ASEAN, Mercosur, and more). Responses include a link to start the application on Visamundi when one is available.

The MCP server is part of the same platform as the REST API and widget — one dataset, three surfaces. The API gives you structured JSON to build on; the MCP server hands the same knowledge to your AI tools as ready-to-read answers, with Visamundi application links built in.

  • Connect — add the server to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client.
  • Tools — the nine tools, their parameters, and rate limits.
